Jesus left us a church not just a book.
Christ didn't write a bible.
he founded a church.
He chose apostles gave them authority and commanded them to teach all nations Mathew 28:19-20.
first christains didn't carry a complete new testament.they lived the faith through the church ,her teaching,her worship.
The bible is inspired every word of it.but it was the church that preserved,proclaimed and canonized it.
Scripture didn't create the church
The church guided y the holyspirit recognised the scripture. This is why christainity was never meant to be me and my bible alone. It was meant to be lived in the one church Christ established. The holy Roman Catholic Church
