Marriage exist for two reason:
To get you and your spouse to heaven
To get your children to heaven.

If you marry someone that dnt share your faith you won't agree on:
Contraception
IVF
Where kids go to school
Where family worship
Whether you pray the rossary together.
Your religion determine how you see reality.
humanity need to take issue of religion seriously.
Same data different conclusion.
One bible different interpretation.
How do you raise children together where you see our lady statue as beautiful and your spouse see it as idolatry.
Real romance is only possible inside a christain marriage.
Real romance comes from two souls loving God more than they love eachother and loving eachother for his sake. Remove God and romance is just emotion that burn out fast.
Happiest marriage I have ever wittnessed all share one trait,both spouse love Jesus more than they love eachother. Because spouse can disappoint but God can't disappoint.its the secret that makes a marriage last 50yeats instead of 5.
